I can't decide which I like more! Between the butterfly on the puff and the lonely chair... I adore your photography Lavender. You catch an Je ne sais quoi... something so charming in your photography.
beautiful, beautiful pictures! And I think long grass is far more lovely than perfectly manicured lawns. (Just like a lady with dirty hands from work is far lovelier than one with perfectly manicured nails.)
I totally agree on both examples! I never thought about it before, the lady comparison. I love my over grown back yard, I think it is lush looking. ;-)
Absolutely fabulous! I think your right I don't know if I’m going to be able to wait till I’m 40 (4 years) to get an SLR I wanna play too these are so inspirational they really make me want to go out & see what I can do! My little camera has a manual mode but no lenses change! It was really a quite frustrating being in Paris & not being able to play as much as I wanted as I was being rushed along (I had to keep reminding myself I was there to see my brother not to see Paris) so my photos are not as good as I would have liked I’m thinking of going back just to take photos LoL! So some of them are up now.
My fav of this lot is the Chair it just seems to speak. I also think it would look good in black & white with the chair coloured red or blue but I really love the green in it Anyhoo rambling again! Seeya Hugya *G*
Thanks Very much! I am going to go out and shoot my chair again today, husband is going to mow tomorrow. It is fun to play with the lens. I want a macro lens, I know that will wipe out all the reserve money I had set aside for my camera.
Yes I am now living vicariously through you WE need a macro lens! LoL I so love macro it is what was missing on all my other cameras I never had a good one till this one so it is so worth it! Ok I really need to get a better job so I can pay off my debts faster & get a camera & go to San Fran actually go to San Fran & buy a camera as I think it will be cheaper there! Now I have a plan to work towards are you near San Fran cause then that would just be fate! LoL my American geography really needs an overhaul in fact my geography in general as Europe has had so many changes in border since I did it at school! Or my other plan is winning the lottery but I think the job is a safer bet nothing has ever been easy for me I always have to work for it, (same as everyone else I know) that way I appreciate it that much more! Anyhoo ramble alert better go Seeya Hugya *G*
Haha! I will shop around a lot for a lens, try to get my money's worth. San Fan huh? I have been there once. A friend lived there a while ago. If you drive straight from there to me, it would take about 16 hours. So not real close. Haha! I wish I could win the lottery, but my chances are not good since I do not buy a ticket. ;-)
The chair's getting the popular vote, understandably, but I'm gonna go out on a limb (no pun intended) and pick the ladybug as my favorite. It's such an intriguing shot and with the ladybug tucked up, it doesn't jump out at you, you hafta look for it.
Thanks Waterbaby, I was shocked to to see her there, I was crouching in my lawn to get close to some puffs and there right next to my fingers was this quiet little bug, I took bunches of pictures, she did not move. So I was careful of her as I moved around my lawn. The chair picture might be the final photo I bring to class.
I was a toddler teacher for a long time, i really tried to see the world from their perspective so that I did not expect things from them they could not do. I do believe I started to see the world differently then.
